%X El presente artículo tiene como finalidad analizar los métodos de control social y eficacia en la prevención y control del delito en China. Mediante una revisión bibliográfica, se ha comprobado que los niveles de criminalidad en el país son bajos. Sin embargo, también se han identificado conflictos entre los métodos de control social y el derecho a la privacidad personal y familiar. La historia de la seguridad en China muestra una profunda relación entre los períodos históricos y las estrategias actuales de control social. Medidas como la vigilancia masiva y el Sistema de Crédito Social han demostrado reducir el delito, en línea con teorías criminológicas. No obstante, plantean desafíos éticos al vulnerar derechos individuales como la privacidad, destacando la necesidad de equilibrar la seguridad pública con los derechos fundamentales.
%X The purpose of this article is to analyze social control methods in terms of the prevention and control of crime in China. The objective of this article is to examine the effectiveness of social control methods in the prevention and control of crime in China. Through a bibliographic review, it has been found that crime levels in the country are low. However, conflicts have also been identified between social control methods and the right to personal and family privacy. The history of security in China shows a profound connection between historical periods and current social control strategies. Measures such as mass surveillance and the Social Credit System have been shown to reduce crime, in line with criminological theories. However, they pose ethical challenges by infringing on individual rights such as privacy, highlighting the need to balance public security with fundamental rights.
