%X Este artículo presenta un análisis cualitativo del uso diferencial de palabras tabú, malsonantes o insultantes entre hombres y mujeres hablantes de ladino en diferentes ciudades de Israel. El registro de este tipo de léxico, catalogado como palabras negras por los ladinohablantes, y también el registro de la valoración que recibe su uso por parte de los informantes se llevaron a cabo mediante la aplicación de entrevistas sociolingüísticas a una muestra de hablantes nativos seleccionada de forma no aleatoria.La entrevista fue construida desde las perspectivas de la etnografía de la comunicación y la pragmática, cuya relevancia al estudiar el ladino en contexto se expone en la fundamentación metodológica. Se consideran e integran aspectos emic o relativos a la subjetividad de los ladinohablantes en la explicación sobre la variación del uso de palabras negras entre hombres y mujeres como manifestación del sexolecto, o la forma de una lengua en función del género de sus hablantes.
%X This article presents a qualitative analysis of the differential use of taboo, swearwords, or insulting words between male and female Ladino speakers in different cities in Israel. The recording of this type of vocabulary, classified as dark words by Ladino speakers, and also the recording of the assessment of their use by informants were conducted by employing sociolinguistic interviews with a sample of native speakers selected in a non-random sampling.The interview was constructed from the perspectives of ethnography of communication and linguistic pragmatics, which relevance to study the Ladino in context is set out in the methodological foundation. Emic aspects or those related to the subjectivity of Ladino speakers are considered and integrated into the explanation of the variation in the use of dark words between men and women. The variation of the language according to the gender is called genderlect.
