The qualitative discourseanalysis of extracts from the work of the German writer Dmitrij Kapitelman, whoimmigrated from the USSR in his time, was carried out as part of this work. Particularlynoteworthy is the ethnolect, which is typical of migrant literature andconsists of a mixture of German and Russian expressions, unusual phraseology, intercultural turns, multilingual metaphors and linguistic elements. Thediscourse analysis software ATLAS.ti was able to investigate this linguisticphenomenon. The findings shed light on the endless combinations of neuralconnections that human memory builds between different languages. Theaim of our research was to investigate the mechanisms of linguistic memoryfunctioning and its reproduction at the multilingual level, distinguishing linguisticcreativity against bilingualism or trilingualism, and identifying and etiquettedifferent translation strategies, thereby contributing to translation studies. Withthe emergence of a new generation of residents with migrant backgrounds inmany countries, migrant literature is gaining momentum, giving fiction moreand more heterogeneity and diversity. This phenomenon deserves more indepthempirical linguistic research with the application of new speech technologiesand artificial intelligence mechanisms. %K Discourse analysis %K Multilingual ethnolinguistics %K Migrant literature %K Linguistic creativity %K Translation studies %~
