%X El conocimiento riguroso de la pintura limeña durante el siglo XVII ocupa un papelpreponderante en el contexto investigador hispanoamericano, pero aún presenta unpanorama fragmentario. Bajo dicha premisa, este estudio tiene como objetivo plantearuna reflexión crítica sobre la asimilación del naturalismo en Lima, complementando lasnoticias teóricas con el análisis de tres lienzos conservados en colecciones públicas yprivadas que anuncian cómo la élite criolla abrazó la novedosa tendencia.
%X The rigorous knowledge of Lima painting during the seventeenth century occupies apreponderant role in the Hispano-American researcher context, but it still shows an incomplete outlook. Based on these premises, this study aims to develop a critical reflection on the understanding of naturalism in Lima, complementing the theoretical news with the analysis of three paintings preserved in public and private collections that announce how the creole elite embraced the new trend.
