AB Se tratará aquí sobre el proceso singular que lle- varía a un madrileño a los altares. No se incidirá en su vida y milagros, sino del acontecer histórico posterior a su muerte, que culminó en lograr que Isidro, labrador del siglo XII, fuera admitido en la nómina de los santos, al ser ejemplo de virtudes cristianas, y siendo venerado desde fecha temprana. No es ajeno a ello que el 19 de junio de 2019 y el 12 de marzo de 2022 se conmemorará el IV centenario de su beatificación y canonización.
