AB El presente estudio tiene por objeto llevar a cabo un análisis jurídico de los cambiosnormativos introducidos por la Ley Orgánica 2/2024, de 1 de agosto, sobrerepresentación paritaria y presencia equilibrada de mujeres y hombres, tomando comopunto de partida los avances legislativos previamente establecidos por la Ley Orgánica3/2007, para la igualdad efectiva de mujeres y hombres.Con el fin de valorar el alcance real de las modificaciones incorporadas por la nuevanorma, resulta imprescindible contextualizarla en el marco del desarrollo normativo iniciado por la LOI, así como examinar no solo el contenido de dicha norma, sinotambién los efectos jurídicos producido en materia de igualdad efectiva de mujeres yhombres. En particular, se trata de determinar en qué medida la Ley Orgánica 2/2024introduce instrumentos eficaces que permitan avanzar en la presencia equilibrada demujeres y hombres en los espacios de poder y decisión, a partir de una evaluación delpunto de partida normativo y del impacto de la norma anterior.
AB The purpose of this study is to carry out a legal analysis of the regulatory changesintroduced by Organic Law 2/2024, of August 1st, on equal representation andbalanced presence of women and men, taking as a starting point the legislativeadvances previously established by Organic Law 3/2007, for the effective equality ofwomen and men (LOI).In order to assess the real scope of the modifications incorporated by the new law, itis essential to contextualize it within the framework of the regulatory developmentinitiated by the LOI, as well as to examine not only the content of said law, but alsothe legal effects produced in terms of effective equality of women and men. Inparticular, it is a question of determining to what extent Organic Law 2/2024introduces effective instruments that allow progress in the balanced presence ofwomen and men in positions of power and decision-making, based on an evaluationof the regulatory starting point and the impact of the previous law.
