AB La historia prehispánica de la Ciénega de Zacapu, Michoacán es conocidapor asentamientos como Loma Alta, Potrero de Guadalupe, Milpillas, ElPalacio y el Malpaís Prieto. Si bien se ha reportado la existencia de manifestacionesgráfico rupestres en algunos de los sitios de la región, existenvarios conjuntos de ellas, independientes de espacios arquitectónicos,que no han sido estudiadas. En este trabajo se muestra su ubicación ycaracterísticas principales y se intenta correlacionar los motivos con elentorno natural y cultural.
AB The prehispanic history of the Ciénega de Zacapu, Michoacan is known forsettlements such as LomaAlta, Potrero de Guadalupe, Milpillas, El Palacio yel Malpaís Prieto. Although it has been reported the existence of cave graphicmanifestations on some of the sites in the region, there are several sets ofthem, independent of architectural spaces, which have not been studied. Thispaper shows its location and main characteristics and attempts to correlatethe designs with the natural and the cultural environment.
