%X In this appendix, using the DSGE model, we calibrate the economy of fourteen countries in Western Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. This set of countries will be labeled as EU14. We retrieve data from several sources and compute average moments for these fourteen countries to target the steady state conditions of the model.
