AB Existen multitud de artículos, libros, revistas y programas dedicados a las tecnologías digitales y la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) y como estas van a modificar nuestras vidas -si no lo han hecho ya- nuestros hábitos de consumo, de relacionarnos con los demás y, por supuesto, como va a afectar al mundo laboral y al mercado de trabajo con predicciones, casi catastrofistas, de que las personas trabajadoras van a ser sustituidas por robots inteligentes, máquinas o chatbots.No obstante, el tratamiento de la IA en la gestión de la seguridad y salud de las personas trabajadoras en relación con la propuesta de la denominada Ley de Inteligencia Artificial que se está tramitando en la Comisión Europea no cuenta con excesiva literatura científica al respecto. Si bien es cierto que dicha cuestión está siendo estudiada y abordada recientemente por diversos autores.En este estudio tratamos de presentar de una forma clara y sencilla que es una IA, que métodos de gestión de seguridad y salud en los que interviene una IA existen en la actualidad, los riesgos que se derivan de ellos y como hace frente la norma a este reto.
AB There are many articles, books, magazines and programs dedicated to digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it is going to modify our lives, -if it has not already done so- our consumption habits, relating to others and, of course, how it will affect the world of work and the labor market with predictions (almost catastrophic) that working people will be replaced by intelligent robots, machines or chatbots.However, there is hardly any literature or studies that address the incursion of AI in the management of the safety and health of workers and even less how the proposal for the so-called Artificial Intelligence Law that is being processed in the European Commission addresses this. question.In this study we try to present in a clear and simple way what an AI is, what health and safety management methods in which an AI intervenes currently exist, the risks that arise from them and how the standard deals with this challenge.
