Autonomous development and the pursuit of their welfare are fundamental pillars that are materialized in both housing and education. These changes in coexistence structures and the increasingly significant access of people with intellectual disabilities to universities require a multidisciplinary response. From this reality and considering the current housing context, in response to their increasing access to university educational institutions that seek to promote autonomy and integrate their needs, a model of friendly housing for university students with disabilities is presented. Factors to be considered include both the housing itself, referred to as the "inside," and its surroundings, referred to as the "outside." Its development will contribute to a new model of more sustainable and inclusive housing, which will enable the autonomous performance of students with intellectual disabilities in various aspects of their lives. %K Friendly housing model %K Intellectual disability %K Students %K Inclusive university %~
