AB Se ofrece una reseña histórica sobre los principales casos de traslationes, inventiones y otros episodios acontecidos en torno al culto a los santos y sus reliquias en Andalucía. Si bien nuestra compilación no pretende ser exhaustiva, iniciaremos nuestro recorrido en la misma tardoantigüedad, analizaremos los casos documentados en época mozárabe y terminaremos con el revival que el culto a las reliquias experimentó como respuesta al rechazo protestante en el contexto de la Contrarreforma.
AB This is a historical review of the main cases of traslationes, inventiones and other episodes related to the cult of saints and their relics in Andalusia. Although our compilation does not claim to be exhaustive, we will begin our journey in late antiquity itself, analyse the cases documented in the Mozarabic period and end with the revival that the cult of relics experienced as a response to Protestant rejection in the context of the Counter-Reformation.
