AB Una manifestación de resistencia y reafirmación son las acciones rituales en el que se expresa la interconexión de elementos simbólicos que se articulan en un conjunto discursivo como son: los santos, el mito, la historia y el territorio. Y son utilizados como recursos y discursos de resistencia étnica como es el caso del último reducto del grupo e’zar o chichimecas jonáz de San Luis de la Paz en el estado de Guanajuato, México. Quienes, al no poseer un mito de origen, engendran su orden sagrado en el conocimiento profano de su historia, por ende, el ritual es construido por la oscilante interrelación de su historia oral, su imagen social y sus expresiones sagradas. En este sentido, el santo, San Luis Rey, no sólo posee un sentido religioso, sino que también el santo es el contenedor de la memoria colectiva que representa el recuerdo de sus propios hechos históricos, que ha marcado la memoria vivencial de este grupo y en base a sus acciones rituales manifiestan una resistencia histórica del reconocimiento de su etnicidad y su territorialidad.

NO A manifestation of resistance and reaffirmation are ritual actions in which the interconnection of symbolic elements articulated in a discursive set, such as saints, myth, history, and territory, are expressed. They are used as resources and discourses of ethnic resistance, as is the case of the last stronghold of the e’zar or chichimecas jonáz group of San Luis de la Paz in Guanajuato, Mexico. Therefore, the ritual is constructed by the oscillating interrelation of their oral history, social image, and sacred expressions.
