%X Este es un proyecto de mediación artística-cultural en colaboración con organizaciones de base, cabildos y comunidades del cantón Mocha. Inició en el 2013, con prácticas transdisciplinares que buscan desde sus principios el reemerger de la fiesta ancestral de Las Octavas de Mocha, un Inti Raymi actualizado y resignificado, el cual fue relegado hace cincuenta años, víctima de la modernidad, bajo el uso de criterios coloniales de raza: “una fiesta de indios”, y movilizando voluntades y afectos, la comunidad despertó. Tras una investigación y prácticas relacionadas a la memoria, en minga, es puesta en escena, hace nueve años en un gran acto performático; el festejo no es sino la bandera del resurgir de la apropiación de nuestro legado, con la ciencia y el arte como sus ejes.
%X This is an artistic-cultural mediation project in collaboration with grassroots organizations, councils and communities of the Mocha canton. Beginning in 2013, with transdisciplinary practices that seek from the beginning the reemergence of the ancestral festival of Las Octavas de Mocha, an update and resignifien Inti Raymi, wich was relegated fifty years ago, victim of modernity, under the use of criteria colonial race: a festival of Indians”, and mobilizing wills and affections, the community woke up. After research and practices related to memory, in minga it is stagen nine years ago in a great performance act; the celebration is nothing but the banner of the resurgence of the appropriation of our legacy, with sciencie an art as its axes.
