AB La presente contribución analiza y reflexiona en torno a la arquitectura de la hacienda Buenavista, situada en las inmediaciones de Lima actual. La propuesta arquitectónica de mediados del siglo XVIII ha perdurado hasta la actualidad. Constituye un caso único que nos permite comprender el uso del espacio y su funcionamiento, en el contexto de una de las propuestas de diseño para las viviendas rurales virreinales en el Perú.---------------------------------------------------------------------------The present contribution analyzes and reflects about the architecture of the hacienda Buenavista, situated in the surroundings of Lima. The architectural proposal related with the 18th century, has lasted to the present time. It constitutes an unique case that allows the understanding related with the use of space and its organization, in the context of a specific design proposal used in the rural architecture in of viceregal Peru
