AB Los grupos otomíes asentados en el semidesierto queretano compartenprácticas culturales que al ser reproducidas periódicamente permitenla cohesión de la comunidad reforzando los vínculos socialesa través de diferentes manifestaciones. Su historia, en la que intervinieronchichimecas y españoles, refleja algunas prácticas y creenciasproducto del contacto de estas sociedades que llevaban consigo componentesculturales que permitieron el sincretismo que se refleja enlas prácticas actuales. La ritualidad se expresa en parte, por medio delas manifestaciones artísticas que han contribuido en la pervivencia detradiciones y ceremonias que año con año congregan a los pobladoresde diferentes localidades. San Miguel, comunidad protagonista deeste artículo, será el referente para conocer y comprender la vida ycosmovisión de algunos de los otomíes del semidesierto queretano.
AB The otomies groups settled in Queretano share cultural practices to bereproduced periodically allow the community cohesion strengtheningthe social connections through different manifestations. Their history, inwhich chichimecas and spaniards intervened, reflects some practices andbeliefs product of contact of these societies that have cultural componentsthat allowed a syncretism reflected in the current practices. The ritualismis expressed through the artistic expressions that contributed in thesurvival of traditions and ceremonies which every year bring togetherresidents from different localities. San Miguel, protagonist communityin this article, will be the reference for knowing and understanding thelife and world view of some of the otomies of Queretaro.
