Abstract
The ecological transition has repercussions on occupational health, posing new preventive challenges. A reality glimpsed in the Occupational Health and Safety Strategies that aim at research, promotion and the elaboration of a theoretical framework for future proposals in the face of an ‘incipient’ problem. Given the pressure of time, and while awaiting its implementation, the main risks and needs are analysed, examining the application of the LPRL to climatic and atmospheric phenomena and to the sectors most affected by the process, focusing on the evaluation and flexibilisation of working time, obligations ‘reinforced’ by RDL 4/2023 for episodes of high temperatures, as well as encouraging the leading role of the social agents and collective bargaining andadvancing some proposals.
