Abstract
En el presente trabajo reconstruimos el proceso oficial de construcción de la santidad de la religiosa valenciana Sor Josefa María de Santa Inés. Dicho camino, lleno de altibajos, se inició en 1729 y concluyó en 1886 con su beatificación. Con ello buscamos analizar los intereses existentes detrás de este tipo de procesos, así como las estrategias de difusión de la santidad.
In this work, I reconstruct the official process of sainthood construction, developed in the case of the Valencian nun, Sister Josefa María de Santa Inés. This path, full of ups and downs, started in 1729 and finished in 1886 with her beatification. The main goal is to analyze the interests behind this kind of processes, as well as the strategies created in order to spread a model of sanctity.
