El proceso de toma de decisiones basado en métodos cuantitativos, análisis de tendencias en el ámbito corporativo

Abstract

La actividad económica se produce en un entorno cambiante y globalizado. Así, las decisiones empresariales que se toman en un contexto competitivo y con información asimétrica se basan, principalmente, en elementos cuantitativos que, a partir de modelos de decisión, permiten obtener información que facilitan la optimización de estas decisiones. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la producción científica y las tendencias de investigación sobre la toma de decisiones basadas en métodos cuantitativos. Para esto, se aplicaron técnicas bibliométricas a una muestra de 1.143 artículos del período 1967-2019 obtenida de la base de datos Scopus. Se utilizó la herramienta de software VOSviewer para construir y visualizar redes bibliométricas. La finalidad fue reconocer las disciplinas y la evolución de estas áreas de interés, además de identificar las redes por coautoría de los principales autores, instituciones de investigación y países, y la red de palabras clave por coocurrencia, mediante la aplicación de técnicas de visualización. Se comprueba el interés de este campo de investigación en la comunidad investigadora, con índices óptimos de publicación y colaboración entre sus agentes impulsores.Economic activity occurs in a changing and globalized environment. Thus, business decisions that are made in a competitive context and with asymmetric information are based, mainly, on quantitative elements that, based on decision models, allow information to be obtained that facilitate the optimization of these decisions. This study aims to analyse scientific production and research trends on decision-making based on quantitative methods. For this, bibliometric techniques were applied to a sample of 1,143 articles from the 1967-2019 period obtained from the Scopus database. The VOSviewer software tool was used to build and visualize bibliometric networks. The purpose was to recognize the disciplines and the evolution of these areas of interest, in addition to identifying the networks by co-authorship of the main authors, research institutions and countries, and the network of keywords by co-occurrence, through the application of visualization techniques. The interest of this field of research in the research community is verified, with optimal rates of publication and collaboration among its driving agents.
