Abstract
La región Laja-Bajío en el estado de Guanajuato, México, es una
zona rica en producción agropecuaria. Durante la época novohispana,
mediante la figura administrativa de la hacienda, se construyeron
varios ejemplos y símbolos de esta bonanza agrícola, tanto en las zonas
rurales, como urbanas. Posteriormente con las diversas reformas a
la propiedad que ha tenido México como país, tanto en el periodo
de Independencia, que se llevó a cabo en el siglo XIX, como de la
Revolución Mexicana, a principios del siglo XX, este patrimonio ha
sufrido una gran diversidad de destinos, y desafortunadamente, también
ha ido perdiéndose. Mediante este trabajo se analiza este devenir
histórico, así como una descripción al respecto de la normatividad
vigente y algunas propuestas de conservación para no perder del
todo los vestigios de esta gran época de bonanza, que dejó memorias
construidas de la historia.
The Laja-Bajío region in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, is an area rich in agricultural production. During the novohispana era, through the administrative figure of the hacienda, several examples and symbols of this agricultural bonanza were constructed, both in rural and urban areas. Subsequently with the various property reforms, which Mexico has had as a country, this heritage has suffered a great diversity of destinations, unfortunately, has also been lost. This work analyzes this historical development, as well as a description of the current regulations and some conservation proposals, so as not to lose completely the vestiges of this great era of prosperity, which left memories of history.
