Abstract
Addressing invisibilization in the arts necessarily requires referring to fe- minist art, even when in this particular instance the present reflection is geared towards recharging the deep significance of the construction of personal stories. If we do not write and recover “the immediate from the right now,” whatever continues to emerge as artistic expression and practice will continue to be non-existent in history. Indeed, if we do not write and recover, history will continue to be based on privileged, heteropatriarchal discourse. The present text intends to open up debate without reaching any set conclusions or affirmations, questioning the purpose of art in an ever-increasing violent world precisely because this will help us understand why certain types of art is privileged over others in traditional history. This hierarchy of artistic value erases the existence of other types of expression and practice. Those otherness will require immediate intervention or they wil be wiped out of history.
