Abstract
The Baroque Festivals were revealed in the viceroyalty of New Spain through ceremonial, ritual and ephemeral constructions. The temporary architectures raised for funerals, oaths and other royal commemorations were of great importance as a manifestation of the new stylistic movements. The diverse libraries and museums of the world preserve a rich ephemeral heritage embodied in engravings, drawings and watercolors that allow us to verify the great artistic and decorative wealth that was developed in the viceroyalty. This study analyzes all of this collection and focuses on a final section in the comparison of funerals for Isabel de Braganza in 1819 that allow us to verify the circulation of architectural, decorative and iconographic models.
