Abstract
Los sermones predicados en 1668 con motivo de la beatificación de Rosa de Lima contienen un conjunto de referencias que tejen una ¿biografía emblematizada¿ de la que forman parte la vida, virtudes y experiencias místicas de la beata. Este trabajo muestra el valor de la emblemática como transmisora de significados dentro de los códigos cifrados de la Edad Moderna.
Sermons preached in 1668 on the occasion of the beatification of Rose of Lima contain a set of references that weave an ¿embematic biography¿ of which life, virtues and mystical experiences are part. This paper shows the value of symbolism as a transmitter of meanings whithin the encrypted codes of the Modern Age.
