Abstract
Elie Wiesel es reconocido hoy por hoy como uno de los intelectuales más influyentes de finales del siglo XX. Sobreviviente adolescente de la Shoá, ha dedicado su vida a dar testimonio de los crímenes perpetrados por el Tercer Reich y defender el respeto y la promoción de los Derechos Humanos. En estas páginas se ilustran los rasgos más significativos de su personalidad, prestándose especial atención a su producción literaria y activismo político.
Elie Wiesel is recognized today as one of the most influential intellectuals of the late twentieth century. Teenage survivor of the Shoah, Wiesel has dedicated his life to witness to the very extremity crimes perpetrated by the Third Reich and defend the respect and promotion of Human Rights. In these pages the most significant features of his personality are illustrated, paying special attention to his literature and political activism.
