Tegucigalpa/ Comayagüela: un centro histórico como hogar público para el arte

Abstract

El presente artículo reflexiona sobre las actividades creativas centradas en el espacio público realizadas dentro del casco histórico de Tegucigalpa y Comayagüela, las cuáles han sido desarrolladas de manera conjunta entre las instituciones culturales/artísticas y la labor cotidiana de las y los creadores que habitan estos espacios. Este ambiente ha permitido que se generen proyectos que combaten, a través de su actuar comunitario, la indiferencia y la amnesia histórica, conectando así dos sectores que han coexistido sin encontrarse de forma contundente en real colaboración para la promoción y transformación del arte y la cultura.

The present article, shares a reflection on how the contribution of the cultural and artistic institutions and the everyday work of the creators that live in the historic part of the cities of Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela, have generated an auspicious space for creative activity centered on the public space, what makes these places and their actors in the key to the development of projects that fight the indifference and historical amnesia, involving the immediate communities and connecting these two sectors that have coexisted without finding themselves in a forceful way in real collaboration for the promotion and transformation of art and culture .
