Este libro es el resultado de una investigación en Archivos, Bibliotecas y Hemerotecas sevillanas y españolas, samarias y colombianas, que saca a la luz documentos inéditos del proceso de elevación del Monumento a Rodrigo de Bastidas, en Santa Marta (Colombia) desde el encargo al escultor sevillano José Lafita Díaz. Se acompaña de otro volumen con la transcripción de Documentos originales, fotografías de época y actuales desde 1924.
This book is the result of an investigation in Sevillian and Spanish, Samarian and Colombian Archives, Libraries and Hemerotecas, which brings to light unpublished documents on the process of elevation of the Monument to Rodrigo de Bastidas in Santa Marta (Colombia) from the commission to the Sevillian sculptor José Lafita Díaz. It is accompanied by another volume with the transcription of original documents, period and current photographs since 1924.
