Abstract
El objetivo del presente trabajo es mostrar la utilidad de los pavimentos decorativos como fuente para el estudio del desarrollo urbano de la ampliación adrianea de Itálica. A través del análisis de los pavimentos (mosaicos y sectilia) y el establecimiento de una cronología sistemática, emerge un panorama de relativa continuidad en la actividad constructiva y decorativa de la llamada nova urbs.
The aim of the present article is to show how decorative pavements can contribue to the study of the urban development of the hadrian city ampliation. The mosaic and sectilia pavements analysis, and the creation of a systematic chronology, seems to delineate a certain continuity in the constructive and decorative activity of the nova urbs.
