Abstract
The work Coentos de Yerusaláyim is characterised by itsuniqueness. Printed by Daid Beħar Yeħudá inJerusalem in 1923, it shows an aljamiado Judeo-Spanishtext in vocalised square script. It is accompanied by thesame content in Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic, which makesit a practically inaccessible work, very fragmented interms of its research, and above all, limited by theparticularities of its languages. Additionally, it bears apedagogical character aimed at learning Hebrew withinthe context of the Zionist strategy from the mid to late19th century. The objective of this analysis, therefore, isto provide an approach to this work through threeperspectives: a description of the body of the work, atranscription of the first of its texts to offer a generaloverview of the linguistic features exhibited in itsSephardic version, and an examination of the technicalaspects of the work to facilitate the successful teaching ofthe languages it proposes, supported by textualexamples.
