Abstract
Niebla, a small town in the province of Huelva, has played an important role in the history of the southwest of Iberian Peninsula. The parish church of Santa María de la Granada is an ancient mosque transformed into a Christian temple after the Reconquest and it gets a crucial value for the knowledge of the historic city, especially, of the late medieval region¿s architecture. In order to ease the correct understanding of the present article, it analyzes both formal and material building¿s evolution during the last two centuries.
