Abstract
In this article we present the first results of a research on the Roman villa of El Altillo (Rus). Starting from a specific find, we have developed the study of a large area by means of prospecting techniques, microprospecting, georadar and stratigraphic surveys, with the aim of defining a Roman site and assessing its potential for research, conservation and dissemination. The different methods used have made it possible to delimit specific areas of the site, such as the pars urbana, where the identification of a large room paved with mosaics stands out.
