Abstract

Este libro se puede calificar como una miscelánea crítica, literaria y erudita. La materia heterogénea del volumen se ha clasificado en torno a tres ejes temáticos. Filología e Historia: Silvia Arroñada, “La biblioteca de Claudio Sánchez-Albornoz en Argentina”; María Crego Gómez, “Los estudios árabes e islámicos en España (ss. XIX-XXI)”; José María Fernández Vázquez, “Veinte años después o la vieja vizcondesa (desde La filología en el purgatorio)”. Crítica literaria: Daniel García Donoso, “Retórica de la no ficción en Presentes, de Paco Cerdà”; Rocío Rojas-Marcos Albert, “Entre la memoria y el deseo de olvido: las consecuencias del paso del tiempo en la obra de Mohamed El Morabet”; Sebastián Ordóñez Chacón, “El peso de vivir en la Tierra, de David Toscana: narrativa fragmentaria e intertextualidad”; y Ensayo: Guillermo Aguirre Martínez, “Sobre los diccionarios de autor”. Si alguna unidad hay en estos estudios será, con toda seguridad, la del amor por la fi lología, la historia, la crítica y el libre desempeño del trabajo intelectual. Espero que el lector sepa valorarlos por lo que signifi can y también por lo que desearían significar.

Philology and History: Silvia Arroñada, “The Library of Claudio Sánchez-Albornoz in Argentina”; María Crego Gómez, “Arabic and Islamic Studies in Spain (19th-21st Centuries)”; José María Fernández Vázquez, “Twenty Years Later, or the Old Viscountess (from Philology in Purgatory).” Literary Criticism: Daniel García Donoso, “Rhetoric of Nonfiction in Paco Cerdà's Presentes”; Rocío Rojas-Marcos Albert, “Between Memory and the Desire to Forget: The Consequences of the Passage of Time in the Work of Mohamed El Morabet”; Sebastián Ordóñez Chacón, “David Toscana's The Weight of Living on Earth: Fragmentary Narrative and Intertextuality”; and Essay: Guillermo Aguirre Martínez, “On Dictionaries by Authors.” If there is one common thread running through these studies, it will surely be a love for philology, history, criticism, and the free pursuit of intellectual work.
