Abstract
Being discourse analysis is a topic of interest to social science our analysis will feed on various contributions arising from these disciplines. Our purpose in this paper is the nature of discourse analysis that allows us to understand the relevance that the issue is gaining for the theory and practice of politics. Actors in political life are diverse, and their language is expressed in oral or written statements, interviews, etc. actions of political nature. All of them represent shares of power. In this sense, the word (discourse) remains associated with power and, by ricochet, politics.
