| dc.description.abstract | The Final Degree Project (TFG) titled “The Integration That Never Comes: Social Education in the Face of Labor Inequality Among Migrants from Colombia and Venezuela in Spain” aims to identify the main barriers to accessing employment in Spain, to find strategies within Social Education to promote labor inclusion while considering gender inequalities, and to evaluate the effectiveness of training and awareness programs in reducing labor and gender inequalities within the field of Social Education. To address these objectives, a qualitative methodology has been used, including two questionnaires and an interview. This research covers key concepts related to Social Education, the sociolaboral integration of people from Colombia and Venezuela in Spain, and the gender perspective, with an intersectional approach that incorporates variables such as nationality, gender, legal status, and educational level to understand the multiple dimensions of inequality. In addition, good practices in socio-educational intervention are included. The results of this research highlight several challenges faced by the participants in the sociolaboral sphere. Likewise, the second questionnaire explores the perceptions and knowledge that Spanish citizens have about immigration, employment, and available social support. From the perspective of Social Education, a critical analysis is proposed regarding the role of social educators as agents of support, mediation, empowerment, and social transformation. | |
