Abstract
Desde la reforma procesal de 1988 existe una tendencia en le ordenamiento jurídico español proclive a encargar al Fiscal la instrucción de los delitos en el proceso penal. El trabajo estudia qué incidencia tiene en esta corriente la Ley 4/1992 de Reforma de los Tribunales Tutelares de Menores y la Ley Orgánica del Tribunal del Jurado, analizando las nuevas funciones asignadas, por estas dos leyes, al Fiscal.

Description
Since the 1988 procedural reform, there has been a growing tendency within the Spanish legal system to entrust the Public Prosecutor with the investigation of criminal offences. This article examines the impact of this trend in light of Act 4/1992 on the Reform of Juvenile Courts and the Organic Law on the Jury Court, analysing the new functions assigned to the Public Prosecutor under these two statutes.
