Abstract
El presente artículo expone, a través de la adaptación de la obra teatral La Tempestad de William Shakespeare, los tres componentes fundamentales del arte dramático: el actor, el autor y el director. El montaje se realizó con el grupo Muskitia Sinska de Puerto Lempira y formó técnica y artísticamente a 8 actores que interpretaron el complejo texto shakesperiano, a través de una versión totalmente innovadora y transgresora de la obra de Shakespeare. La versión teatral original se afinca en la historia y política, no solo de la Mosquitia, sino de Honduras y del área centroamericana. La dirección de este trabajo se logró a través de un acercamiento antropológico, la realización de un montaje que expone de manera lúdica y dramática, las costumbres, las condiciones socio políticas y culturales de la región misquita.
This article presents, through the adaptation of William Shakespeare¿s play "The Tempest", the three fundamental components of drama: the actor, the author, and the director. The assembly was made with the Muskitia Sinska group of Puerto Lempira and trained technically and artistically 8 actors, who performed the complex Shakespearean text, through a totally innovative and transgressive version of Shakespeare¿s work. The original theatrical version is based on history and politics, not only of The Mosquitia, but of Honduras and the Central American area. The direction of this work was achieved through an anthropological approach, the realization of a montage that exposes in a playful and dramatic way, the customs, the socio-political and cultural conditions of the Misquita region.
