Abstract
Forced marriage is defined as a marriage in which at least one of the two spouses is forced to marry without their consent. This practice is considered a type of trafficking in human beings, little known in our country because it hardly echoes it, so both the population and social work professionals are not aware that in our country and in the autonomous community, this problem takes place. Therefore, with this research, it is proposed to know the perspective of Social Work professionals who develop their professional work in Andalusia on the practice of forced marriages, and for this we have helped ourselves with a questionnaire. The results have helped us to observe the lack of knowledge about the problem on the part of social workers. Therefore, the importance of awareness, visibility and sensitization of this practice is highlighted through social policies that guarantee the rights of victims.
