Abstract
La Historia del Arte ha pasado de crear y acumular conocimiento
a asumir su relación directa con la preservación y la comunicación
del patrimonio. Los criterios para emitir un juicio crítico de valor
artístico, es decir, para reconocer una obra de arte como tal, son la
autenticidad y la calidad y por ello debemos elaborar su crítica de
autenticidad, la historia de todas las intervenciones que ha sufrido.
Desconocerlas puede llevarnos aceptar los falsos históricos y a elaborar
falsos historiográficos. La historia de la restauración es una metodología
fundamental de la investigación histórico-artística. Nuestro
proyecto de investigación en historia de la restauración del período
franquista ha desarrollado herramientas de transferencia para comunicar
el conocimiento científico que hemos elaborado, de manera que
contribuya a la tutela y el disfrute de nuestro legado monumental.

Our project of investigation focused on the history of the architectural restoration during the Franco dictatorship has developed tools of transferring the scientific knowledge that we have elaborated to society, in order to communicate our scientific contribution, at the same time, At the same time it has a practical facet on having contributed to the guardianship, the knowledge and the enjoyment of our monumental legacy.
