Abstract
The Syrian Revolution has been dilated and the subject of far too much bloodshed and sorrows. February will mark the second year of the Syrian regime's criminal and bloody practices on one hand, and of young Syrian's unprecedented insistence and determination to break with the past at any price. Barriers to regime change and to the replacement of dictatorship with a lawful state still remain both at the interior and external levels. In this article we will try to highlight the factors preventing the same outcome as the one in the Tunisian and Egyptian cases.
