Praxis, valor de uso y tiempo libre: aportaciones para un marxismo de la liberación

Abstract

En este documento se tratará de esbozar un mínimo marco teórico para aproximarnos a lo que llamamos "marxismo de la liberación"; esto es, un marxismo que se encamine hacia aquello para lo que fue concebido, la realización de la libertad. Para ello defendemos la hipótesis de que, si bien no hay en Marx una teoría acabada de la liberación, sí existen categorías imprescindibles para enfrentar satisfactoriamente este problema. Aquí se rescatan tres categorías propias y centrales en el pensamiento de Marx para llevar a cabo esta empresa: la praxis, el valor de uso y el tiempo libre. Defendemos también la centralidad de dichas nociones y la necesidad de releerlas y combinarlas en aras de la construcción política de alternativas.

This paper will try to propose a brief theoretical approximation to what we call "Marxism of liberation". That is, a Marxism which would try to achieve its natural objective, the one for which it was conceived: the fulfillment of freedom. To do that, we claim that although in Marx's works there is not any complete theory of liberation, there are some categories useful to deal with this issue. Here we want to recover three central categories that Marx established: praxis, use value and free time. We also defend the importance of these concepts and the necessity of re-reading and combine them in order to create political alternatives.
