Abstract

This paper takes a tour of the creativity of one of the ancient territories that were part of the Kingdom of Seville and that today is in the province of Badajoz. Specifically, we are talking about the old vicarage of Fregenal, where the spiritual jurisdiction of the bishopric of Badajoz and the civil jurisdiction of Seville coincided, a circumstance that undoubtedly marked its historical and artistic evolution during the Modern Age.
