Abstract
El trabajo analiza los mitos cosmogónicos nahuas y mayas que legitiman la práctica sacrificial, a partir de las hazañas realizadas por las deidades, entre las cuales ciertos dioses son señalados como los transgresores. Por lo tanto, la culpa se vuelve un componente esencial para designar quienes son las víctimas sacrificiales, elemento que ha sido identificado y negado por estudiosos del sacrificio humano. Así que se examinan tanto los desacatos que volvieron transgresores a las deidades: Jun Junajpu y Wuqub ́Junajpu, a Xkik ́, a los gemelos divinos, Jun Kame y Wuqub Kame, a los mimixcoa, a Copil, a Coyolxauhqui y los Centzonhuitznahua, como las demandas de los transgredidos, que en su papel de jueces exigieron la expiación de tan graves faltas, al punto de volver a los infractores el arquetipo de los vencidos, cuya condena es su inmolación, la cual está articulada dentro de un complejo plan anecuménico que necesita de la consagración de componentes anímicos.
This paper analyzes the sacrificial practice considering the narratives of its legitimation among the cosmogonic myths, which in different cases point at transgressive deities as the sacrificial victims. So, the reader will identify either disobedience or omissions that turned some deities into transgressors; and will acknowledge who are ones as judges that demanded atonement for such serious faults, turning the offenders into the archetype of the defeated, who deserve the sacrifice, which is wisely articulated inside a divine plan, that was the origin for certain rituals.
