Abstract
El presente documento tiene como fin dar a conocer un proyecto innovador, que busca incluir la importancia de la conservación de libro como bien cultural dentro del archivo, como objeto de museo, en este caso se presenta la propuesta de restauración de un libro único e invalorable titulado, Etnología y Arqueología del Estado de Hidalgo, del autor Manuel A. Escandón, el cual se creía perdido y mediante el salvamento de patrimonio documental, se rescató y hoy forma parte del patrimonio universitario.
El documento se divide en dos grandes partes, la primera busca presentar los antecedentes que precedieron y la razón por la que llego el libro a la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, la importancia que esta le ha dado a la preservación de la memoria histórica de la institución, que por consiguiente también representa patrimonio cultural del país.
La segunda parte induce a comprender la importancia de la conservación del libro en mención, sabiendo que el patrimonio cultural está representando por una serie de expresiones culturales, artísticas, tecnológicas y científicas que constituyen el patrimonio material e inmaterial, las cuales deben ser salvaguardadas, difundidas y presentadas, mediante ideas que promuevan identidad y pertenencia
The purpose of this document is to publicize an innovative project, which seeks to include the importance of the conservation of cultural asset within the archive, as a museum object, in this case the proposal for the restoration of a unique and invaluable book, Ethnology and Archeology of the State, Hidalgo, by the author Manuel A. Escandón, who was believed lost and through the salvage of documentary heritage, it was rescued and today is part of the university heritage. The document is divided into two large parts; the first seeks to present the antecedents that proceeded and the reason why the document arrived at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo, the importance that this has given to the preservation of the historical memory of the institution, which consequently also represents the country’s cultural heritage. The second part leads us to understand the importance of the conservation of the document in question, knowing that the cultural heritage is represented by a series of cultural, artistic, technological and scientific expressions that constitute the tangible and intangible heritage, which must be safeguarded, disseminated and presented, through ideas that promote identity and belonging.
