Just for fun? Las expresiones artístico-creativas como repertorio de protesta en el movimiento de las mujeres contemporáneo

Abstract

La protesta social de los años recientes extiende sus formas a través de la incorporación de elementos creativos y artísticos, ampliando no sólo el repertorio de participación sino ampliando también las posibilidades de implicación de los participantes y del público en general. La búsqueda de la eficacia de la protesta se lleva a cabo por medio de la elección de un tipo de repertorio que garantice en mayor medida objetivos como la visibilidad, la agitación y la sensibilización de público y participantes. La innovación y el avance de la digitalización viralizan casos como el de `Un violador en tu camino¿, siendo un reflejo del modo en que los repertorios evolucionan y se reinventan. En este sentido, el trabajo presente ofrece una definición del repertorio artístico-creativo y examina su presencia efectiva desde el análisis de los eventos de protesta del movimiento de las mujeres del 25N y el 8M para el periodo 2017-2022, así como a través de la percepción de participantes y público sobre su eficacia como medio de concienciación, sensibilización y activación para la participación política. Los resultados respaldan la extensión de dicho repertorio, al menos en el contexto de las protestas vinculadas al movimiento feminista en España. Los resultados apuntan también la eficacia del mismo en términos de asombro, agitación, generación de vínculos y concienciación mayores. En definitiva, se muestra la eficacia de la convergencia del arte y la protesta protagonizada por la ciudadanía. Frente a la idea de que la incorporación de estos elementos puede conllevar una banalización de la protesta, los resultados indican que, haciéndolo más atractivo, emocionante y participativo, el repertorio artístico-creativo también resulta eficaz a la hora de sensibilizar a la ciudadanía.

The social protest of recent years extends its forms through the incorporation of creative and artistic elements, expanding not only the repertoire of participation but also expanding the possibilities of involvement of the participants and the general public. The search for the effectiveness of the protest is carried out through the choice of a type of repertoire that guarantees, to a greater extent, objectives such as visibility, agitation and awareness of the public and participants. Innovation and the advancement of digitization make cases like 'A rapist in your path' go viral, reflecting the way in which repertoires evolve and reinvent themselves. In this sense, the present work offers a definition of the artistic-creative repertoire and examines its effective presence from the analysis of the protest events of the women's movement of 25N and 8M for the period 2017-2022, as well as through the perception of participants and the public about its effectiveness as a means of raising awareness, sensitization and activation for political participation. The results support the extension of this repertoire, at least in the context of the protests linked to the feminist movement in Spain. The results also point to its effectiveness in terms of astonishment, agitation, generation of bonds and greater awareness. In short, the effectiveness of the convergence of art and protest led by citizens is shown. Faced with the idea that the incorporation of these elements can lead to a trivialization of the protest, the results indicate that, by making it more attractive, exciting and participatory, the artistic-creative repertoire is also effective in raising public awareness.
