Abstract
The shift of tourism in recent years to destinations inside has exposed the cultural heritage of the Mexican people. There is a need of reviewing programs and policies related to promotion of this activity and its relation to the conservation of traditional architecture and cultural heritage. Experiences are taken from Tapalpa and Mazamitla to promote the creation of integrated projects for regional development.
