Este artículo trata del manejo y conservación de cuencas hidrográficas
trasfronterizas entre Ecuador y Perú, a través de la experiencia
obtenida del proyecto de Gestión Integral de la Cuenca Hidrográfica
Binacional Catamayo-Chira, como una contribución a la protección
de ecosistemas y a la buena vecindad de ambos países.
