Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to compose an analysis of the main political and cultural mechanisms (linguistic, literary, artistic, etc.) by which Greece managed to become a completely integrated part of the Roman empire (culturally and politically), and it became an essential agent in Roma¿s imperial project. We will also analyze why this close project of collaboration, which benefited both the Roman and Grecian elite, took place in the second century A.D.
