Abstract
La finalidad de esta aportación es la de reconocer la imagen positiva del asno, símbolo metafórico muy cultivado en los cuentos clásicos populares de los países del Mediterráneo. Para este trabajo se analizará unos cuentos y fábulas clásicos recogidos de la herencia árabe popular en correspondencia con su eje temático y conceptual establecido en las fabulas españolas de Esopo. Apreciamos, desde una perspectiva profunda del pensamiento cognitivo, la importancia de estos cuentos y fábulas para asentar moralejas sencillas que promueven la enseñanza de valores a través de la figura simbólica del asno.
The donkey, metaphorical symbol of the Mediterranean fauna. Morals in popular Arabic stories and Spanish fables the purpose of this contribution is to recognize the positive image of the donkey, a metaphorical symbol widely cultivated in the classic folk tales of the Mediterranean countries. To do this, some classic tales and fables collected from the popular Arab heritage will be analyzed in correspondence with their thematic and conceptual axis established in Aesop’s fables. We appreciate, from a deep perspective of cognitive thinking, the importance of these stories and fables that establish simple morals which promote the teaching of values.
