Alumno/a mediador/a hacia una convivencia más sana

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) aborda el tema de la formación de un equipo de alumnos/as mediadores/as, con el objetivo de mejorar la convivencia en los centros educativos. Para ello, se llevaron a cabo una serie de pasos metodológicos que incluyeron desde la selección del alumnado candidato, analizando si cumplen o no el perfil, hasta la formación de alumnado en temas como la resolución de conflictos, la mediación, como se lleva a cabo una sesión de mediación hasta a la adquisición de habilidades sociales y comunicativas. Para la elaboración de la fundamentación teórica, he realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica, que me ha servido para asentar las bases del proyecto. Tras la fundamentación, se procedió analizar la realidad, recopilando y analizando los datos mediante la observación participante, las entrevistas mixtas y no estructuradas. Los resultados obtenidos arrojan que para que sea posible una convivencia un poco más sana es crucial poseer ciertas habilidades y actitudes, como son las comunicativas, la escucha activa, el asertividad... En cuanto a las conclusiones, se encontró que la mediación es una herramienta muy útil para la resolución de conflictos de forma más calmada y pacífica, sin embargo, estos candidatos previamente deben de cumplir con un perfil determinado. En resumen, este TFG proporciona una visión detallada y fundamentada sobre el alumno mediador como agente para logar una convivencia más sana en los centros educativos, algo que fomenta que exista un clima distrito en el centro, favoreciendo a la motivación y la permanencia del alumnado. También he de destacar que mis destinatarios son un tanto distintos, puesto que no pertenecen todos al mismo centro y quizás sea mejor llevar a cabo la intervención en las aulas donde han estado dando clases de apoyo, brindadas por Cruz Roja.This Final Degree Project (TFG) addresses the issue of the formation of a team of student mediators, with the aim of improving coexistence in schools. To this end, a series of methodological steps were carried out that included from the selection of candidate students, analyzing whether or not they meet the profile, to the training of students in topics such as conflict resolution, mediation, how a mediation session is carried out to the acquisition of social and communication skills. For the elaboration of the theoretical foundation, I have carried out a bibliographic search, which has helped me to lay the foundations of the project. After the substantiation, we proceeded to analyze the reality, collecting and analyzing the data through participant observation, mixed and unstructured interviews. The results obtained show that for a slightly healthier coexistence to be possible, it is crucial to have certain skills and attitudes, such as communicative, active listening, assertiveness... Regarding the conclusions, it was found that mediation is a very useful tool for conflict resolution in a calmer and more peaceful way, however, these candidates must previously meet a certain profile. In summary, this TFG provides a detailed and well-founded vision of the mediator student as an agent to achieve a healthier coexistence in schools, something that encourages a district climate in the center, favoring the motivation and permanence of students. I must also emphasize that my recipients are somewhat different, since they do not all belong to the same center and perhaps it is better to carry out the intervention in the classrooms where they have been giving support classes, provided by the Red Cross.
