Abstract
Transgender people constitute a social group with high unemployment rates and problems for labour market insertion, ranging from training to finding and maintaining a job. In spite of this, there is little bibliography that studies social and labour intervention with this group. Within this framework, the present research uses the qualitative method, with interviews to 16 experts in professional practice, to analyse the phases of the process of socio-labour intervention with trans persons. The results show an intervention structured in four phases: reception; design; implementation; follow-up. In each of them, particularities of the social group stand out, which must be considered throughout the process. With this, a standardization of phases and tasks is constituted, together with an itinerary of labour insertion, which allows systematizing information currently dispersed to generate an intervention model replicable in different contexts and professional spaces. One of the main elements is the flexibility and adaptability of the intervention, which is fundamental considering the problems accumulated by trans people.
