La formación virtual en tiempos de COVID-19. ¿Qué hemos aprendido?

Abstract

La crisis provocada por el COVID-19 ha tenido un gran impacto en la sociedad en general y sistemas educativos en particular. En este contexto, numerosos estudios llevados a cabo antes y durante la pandemia ponen de manifiesto la importancia de las tecnologías como principales herramientas garantes de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje a distancia. Sin embargo, todavía existen numerosas brechas a superar para que dichos procesos sean efectivos al 100%. Por ello, en este estudio se trata de presentar un juicio fundamentado y crítico de las principales variables que han afectado al éxito o fracaso de las prácticas educativas virtuales. En este sentido, se realiza una revisión de las últimas investigaciones e informes educativos antes y durante la pandemia. Fruto de ello, se presentan los resultados en tres grandes bloques: cuestiones iniciales a tener en cuenta, brechas digitales y aportaciones para el futuro. Se concluye haciendoun resumen de los principales factores facilitadores del e-learning (política, profesorado, alumnado, familia...) y se delibera sobre la necesidad formativa de todos los colectivos implicados.The crisis caused by COVID-19 has had a great impact on society in general and educational systems in particular. In this context, numerous studies carried out before and during the pandemic show the importance of technologies as the main guarantor tools of distance teaching and learning processes. However, there are still numerous gaps to overcome for these processes to be 100% effective. Therefore, this study tries to present an informed and critical judgment of the main variables that have affected the success or failure of virtual educational practices. In this sense, a review of the latest research and educational reports is carried out before and during the pandemic. As a result, the results are presented in three large blocks: initial questions to take into account, digital gaps and contributions for the future. It concludes by making a summary of the main facilitating factors of e-learning (politics, teachers, students, family...) and deliberates on the training need of all the groups involved.
