Abstract
profesionales pertenecientes a otras disciplinas.
In the present Work of End of Degree an approach is realized to the action of the professional figure of the social worker and the instrument of the social expert opinion in the judicial processes, where he or she acts like expert. This study has begun with a bibliographical compilation to obtain the information of the works and the scientific sources, which have previously dealt with the mentioned subject of study, being reflected in the theoretical foundation. Subsequently, different interviews have been carried out with professionals working in the area of Justice or are very close to it, who have been both social workers and professionals belonging to other disciplines. The steps, previously done, had the objective to carry out a verification and the comparison of the theoretical framework with respect to the present reality, in which the professionals of the Social Work in Justice are immersed, both public and private, denoting the disparities comments on the theoretical-practical relationship. Finally, self-elaborated reviews have been added, which have tried to perform from a critical perspective towards the functioning of the judicial system, and self-criticism towards the discipline of Social Work and its professionals. Consequently, we not only have tried to emphasize the causes for these disarrangements, but the future of this area of Social Work yet to be built as well.
